CDP reporting deadline extended to 31 July 2019

The CDP reporting deadline for cities has been extended to 31 July. Please contact for assistance.

Joint letter from CDP and ICLEI

We are excited to see a record number of local governments working on the completion of the 2019 Cities questionnaire. We do however understand that you may need a bit more time to submit your response. We are therefore extending the reporting deadline to the 31st July 2019.

This also gives you more time to get started, if you haven’t had a chance to do so yet. Please contact CDP at - keeping ICLEI in copy via - to express your city’s interest to report in 2019. CDP will enable your registration. Please reference this user guide to the platform and reporting guidance for more information.

Cities that submit their responses by 31st July will also benefit from CDP’s tools and services including scoring and feedback on your response, your data being featured in our Open Data Portal and access to cities analytics.

Don’t forget that our unified reporting system is also recognised by the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy (GCoM). This means that the online questionnaire reflects the GCoM’s reporting framework and you can report your climate action data to the GCoM through us.

Great news! This extension to the 31st July also applies to cities wishing to take part in WWF’s One Planet City Challenge (OPCC), Participation is very easy and simply requires a tick in the OPCC opt-in box on our reporting platform. Please contact for more information.

We are very much hoping that this extended deadline will facilitate your participation this year. Please give us a call or send us an email to if you have any further questions. We are looking forward to hearing from you!

Best wishes,
